Burn Care

Most Advanced Treatments

From aggressive wound treatment to a complete scar management program, we have the treatments needed to heal your burns as pain-free as possible.

Burns are an evolving injury. That’s why it’s important for all burn patients to receive specialized care. Without proper treatment, second-degree burns can become deeper and require surgery. Plus, burns covering the joints, hands, feet, face or genitalia can have significant functional or cosmetic consequences.

We use specialized treatments to ensure patients recover as quickly and completely as possible. These include chemicals that dissolve dead burn tissue on the surface and allow tissue underneath to heal without skin graft surgery. We also use a temporary, artificial skin substitute that decreases the need for skin grafting.

When the dressings that cover burn injuries are changed, a mild sedation is used to make the process pain-free for patients. Plus, our complete scar management program limits disabilities and improves cosmetic appearance.
